Based on Gulf Island living, it is made with minimalist design, matte aesthetic, poetic editorials, and vibrant photography.
Each issue explores one theme through engaging interviews, stories, photographs, recipes, and artwork.
FOLKLIFE gratefully acknowledges that all of this happens within Coast Salish territory, home to the Coast Salish Peoples of Cowichan, Penelakut, Hwlitsum, BOKECEN, Halalt, Homalco, K’omok, Klahoose, Lyackson, MALEXEt, Qualicum, Snuneymuxw, Tsawout, Stz’uminus, and Tla’amin since time immemorial.
