How to clean Enamelware
Lemon juice can remove stains from Falcon enamelware products, like tea stains on mugs. Soak your enamelware in warm soapy water to remove baked on food. Do not use abrasive sponges or brushes as it could scratch the surface. Greasing your pans before cooking will also help avoid food sticking.
Chipped enamelware
Just like any other ceramic, the outer porcelain layer can chip if dropped. This may reveal the steel layer inside. When this happens the steel below naturally oxidises and the enamelware is still safe to use. Plus, in our opinion, it gains a little more character!
Using Falcon Enamelware camping
At SALT, we love using enamelware to cook when camping. We place the bakeware on a grill grate over a campfire and let the fire do it's thing! You will be left with soot on the exterior of your enamelware but it can be washed off with warm soapy water.

Enamelware is durable and versatile, making it a sustainable tableware option for indoor and outdoor use. Although it may chip overtime, it is unlikely to break and will therefore last a lifetime or longer with proper care. We are all for things that are keeping plastics out of our environment and garbage from our landfills. We also love the nostalgic style of their pieces, and how its character grows with use. Having a piece on your boat or in your camp kit means it will carry with it the adventures you have taken it on.
I bought these (bought one for myself gave it to my husband had to get one for myself) to take our wellness shots. We take a TNJ (Noni) shot twice a day and a seaweed shot daily and this tumbler is a perfect size. If you can get it in 4oz would be good as I double up. Love that it is eco friendly and easy to clean. Can take it with me when I travel and don't have to worry about it breaking like glass shot glasses. I am slowly becoming a minimalist and I love easy!
